Some migrating geese fly directly overhead, going from the left to the right side of the stereo field. You can hear the doppler shift as they pass. Songbirds sing in the background. Migrating starlings cawing in the trees a s a few acorns fall and hit a car. Recorded in an urban environment so a motorcycle slows nearby then revs off.

This is a field recording in late may, 2009 off the porch of my cabin located on lummi island, washington state, usa. The woods are filled with a cacophony of migrating and local bird sounds. This is a raw field recording it has not been mixed or overdubbed.

In urban residential backyard, spring migration birdsong. The city is relatively quiet because of the covid-19 lockdown.

As starlings migrate south for the winter, millions of them like to stop over parts of maryland and nestle in the trees. The sound of their chirping can be deafening. Someone decided to launch bottle rockets into the trees to scare them off. It doesn't sound like it worked does it? enjoy!.

At the end of each summer, crows gather and prepare for the migration souththis is a recording of them as day was breaking. There are sounds of foot steps as i slowly made my way to the location they were roosting. I tried to record for a bit before i moved closer. . . . . . . . . .

Literally hundreds of thrushes gather in a small forest, some background noise from a nearby road and some occasional water droplets hitting the microphone. Recorded with zoom h2n.

A busy morning in the deep woods in mid april. Recorded in the shawnee forest in illinois on april 15th, 2017 using the sound devices 702 and the stereo microphone, audio technica bp4025. A true stereo recording. The migrating birds have arrived from central and south america. This shows how nature sometimes can be quite loud and busy! pretty cool to listen to with good headphones on.

Sounds of the tidelands 1 and 2 and flying wildgooses were recorded in may 2014 too. The wadden sea is famous for its rich flora and fauna, especially birds. Hundreds of thousands of waders (shorebirds), ducks, and geese use the area as a migration stopover or wintering site, and it is also rich habitat for gulls and terns. [3]you may hear some birds od the tidelands in the background disturbed by the windsounds. Sounds are not so clear because recorded with my iphone.
